People do admire my shiny coat. It must be in my genes, although I do not remember whether Avonstream Eva (my real mom) was shiny, and I don't know whether I ever met my dad, Avonstream Kaiser. I think it helps that I shed my coat completly twice a year and grow a new one. I have just started my spring moult.

I do think you look lovely Tess, my coat is much the same. My mum is constantly sweeping and hoovering too. My shedding hairs even get in the fridge!! Goodness knows how, wish I could! I think we are particularly beautiful and shiny in the spring; new coat, sunny days, leafy garden, lots of fresh air and lovely new flowers to sniff. It's all good for a dogs coat.
Best regards, Roddy Black Lab, Birmingham.
