Where rabbits live

This is one of my favourite walks because I know they are there. I spent the whole walk sniffing and looking, but I did not see any.

Life's little pleasures

Coming home from a wet and cold walk. Being rubbed dry by mom, given a treat, petted and wrapped up warm. Knowing that all is well with my world.

Top treat

Today we saw the vet, and for some reason mom and dad decided we should all have a special treat afterwards. Now, I am a dog that is particularly fond of fast food, so getting my own burger tops it all. Great stuff.

Winter is back

It is cold and muddy, but despite that I would like to get into that field. There might be rabbits there.

Supermice

The little woodmice who visit our garage are pretty smart. They figured out how to get into the trap, eat the nut and somehow get out again. Mom and dad thought the trap was not working, so they bought a set of different ones. That worked well for a week or so, every night a couple of mice were caught, and set free in the garden. But now they have worked out that if they topple the new traps they can get into them - eat the nut - and escape. This evening there were no mice in the traps, and no nuts either.

Dad's Chair

While he was outside I decided to try his chair. It is actually very comfy. He may have to sit somewhere else from now on.

Wet-dog Day

This is me resting after a wet walk this morning. We met the hardiest of the gang down the field; Meg, Bailey, Charlie, Floyd, Zac and Rory were all there, with their bedraggled humans on tow.

Mice

See those two little black boxes beside me? There are mice in them. They have just been caught in our garage and are waiting to be taken out to the garden to be released. Most likely they will then run around the house and come back under the garage door, to be caught again tomorrow. They will get the treat inside the trap and do it all over again. Me, I am not interested. I am just waiting for my late evening walk.

Rabbit Park

Today we went for a walk in the park where the rabbits live. I did not see any, but I sure could smell them.
